First published in Esquire Magazine in the summer of 1976, reprinted in the collection All Our Secrets Are the Same: New Fiction from Esquire,  again in Hannah’s 1978 book Airships, and a fourth time in Barry Hannah’s 2010 Long, Last, Happy: New and Selected Stories.
